I am a big fan of cannabis.
Not like the kind of fan I was in my youth when I would see just how high I could get (I could get very high), but the kind who now understands and respects this magical plant and its amazing healing properties.
Yes, I still like the THC buzz, but I also like that it helps calm my type A personality with my tiny-fuse temper, helps me focus, and gives me energy or sleep when I need it.
I am currently studying to become a Certified Cannabis Coach. It's a real thing! With real potential! I believe I have finally found my calling in life. These are my people. North Carolina, get with the program because cannabis is medicine!
I began this journey with my mom before she left me to travel the cosmos. I discovered that CBD (which doesn't make you high) helps with pain and my mom was always in pain. I made cookies and cakes infused with it. I sprinkled it in her food. She did manage to get into my personal edibles once and ate something with a giant-sized amount of THC; she was high as shit for a few hours (and very funny; who knew she was a comedian?), but other than that, it was a good experience for both of us.
